At Cruise Port IJmuiden, your cruise vessel can berth at two well-equipped and easily accessible locations. Both terminals are convenient and easily accessible by car and public transport, so getting here is always easy and hassle-free.

Getting Here By Car
From the A9 motorway, take the exit IJmuiden / Beverwijk (A22). Follow the signs to IJmuiden and turn left at the traffic lights. Continue on this road until you reach Pontplein, where you’ll see the blue-and-white ferry to Velsen Noord / Beverwijk on your right. From Pontplein, follow the Kanaaldijk along the North Sea Canal, keeping the canal on your right-hand side. Take the first road to the right in the direction of Sluizen. You’ll see the former Witte Theater straight ahead. Continue along the canal. The Felison Terminal is located at the end of the road, where it makes a sharp left turn. The cruise quay (“Cruisekade”) will be directly in front of you. To your left, you may see the white-and-blue DFDS Seaways vessels, operating daily services to Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom.
Getting Here By Public Transport
From Beverwijk Station, take bus line #74 and exit at the stop Oranjestraat in IJmuiden. Walk towards the canal and turn left, keeping the canal on your right. After approximately 400 metres, the Felison Terminal will appear straight ahead.

Getting Here By Car
From the A9 motorway, take the exit IJmuiden / Beverwijk (A22) and follow the signs to IJmuiden. Turn left at the traffic lights. At Pontplein, where you’ll see the ferry to Velsen Noord / Beverwijk on your right, follow the Kanaaldijk along the North Sea Canal. Stay on this main road and, after passing the viaduct, take the second exit at the next two roundabouts. You will now be driving on Dokweg. At the traffic lights, take the first exit to the right, following signs to IJmond Haven. This road becomes Strandweg, which later transitions into Zeehavenweg. After approximately 1,500 metres, the Felison Cruise Terminal will be on your right-hand side.
Getting Here By Public Transport
From Haarlem Station, take bus line #385 to IJmuiden. Exit at Dennekoplaan (IJmuiden Bus Station) and transfer to bus line #382 towards IJmuiden aan Zee. Exit at the bus stop Badweg. At this stop, you’ll see a stairway on your right-hand side, about 40 metres from the bus stop. Walk up the stairs onto the dike and down the other side. The Felison Cruise Terminal will be almost directly in front of you.
From Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, take bus line #382 towards IJmuiden aan Zee. Exit at Badweg, use the stairway near the bus stop to cross the dike, and the terminal will be clearly visible ahead.
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, there is no direct connection to the Felison Cruise Terminal. Take a train from Schiphol to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (trains every 10–15 minutes, 11 minutes travel time). From there, continue by bus line #382 to IJmuiden aan Zee, as described above.
